    I am pleased to report that we enjoyed a pleasant evening of snooker with our friends at DSC last Wednesday evening. We where  made very welcome and warmed by the roaring log fire in thier club.  As usual  they laid on a splendid supper that contained french dainties. These were greatly enjoyed by our Commodores good lady, who was heared to note that these should be obligatory at future matches.

  The result was a win for WYC.  Well done to the Team.

              Last night WYC entertained WKSC at Snooker.
              A convivial evening was enjoyed by all. Our thanks go to
              the Rear Comm. Brenda for laying on a splended supper,
              and Shilly for manning the bar.
              Welll done to all who turned up. The match was a           
              good contest, with WKSC edging the win by 69 points.
