Could all members who still have a shield or trophy from last year please return them to the clubhouse asap . Unfortunately due to the timescale involved ,  the engraver is unable to complete this years engraving in time to hold the event on the advertised date . The Prize Giving is therefore being postponed and the new date will be advertised as soon as it is known.

Hi All,
Whilst I'm in Portsmouth next week, I will be updating the forum.  (It has needed doing for a while)
Hopefully there will be no disruption or downtime but bear with me if there is.  I'm hoping that users will be able to log on as normal throughout.
Thanks Pam
p.s. We are going to try and be back for prize-giving night now - what time does it start?

Hi Ian,
hope you made it to college on time today. The designs look good. When you get chance can you email me both the Teal and Whimbrel ones.
Cheers Pam

If you have a spare half hour and could be interested in single handed dinghy sailing, the link below is pretty good................:-

I have designs available for each boat in the fleet which can be taken to the stall in Birkenhead market [called Design & Print which is on Thomas Brassey aisle] where they do the embroidery for the WYC badge [Dodo & Widgeon are already on the system]. It cost me £6 to have each design uploaded onto the system and then its £3 for each print. If you would like a copy send me your email address and I can email the design to you.

  APPLES

No problem! I will be down to scrub the boat on thursday morning, I will bring some with me it will be a mix of cooking and eating apples. Put together they make great pies and crumble. The flesh of the eaters is red so you get a great looking pie or crumble or apple sauce for pork.
Some may look marked as I have a wasp problem in our garden so just cut around the marks, and enjoy.

Hi Peter, the Davies mob would love some apples. Girls have a new liking for cooking with fruit. (Pams fault)
